Cerebrovascular disease course proposal on the Moodle platform

Introduction: cerebrovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. The development of a course on this pathology contributes to increasing knowledge for making this challenging diagnosis.
Objective: make a course proposal on the Moodle platform on diagnosis and management of cerebrovascular disease.
Methods: A qualitative pedagogical research was carried out. The observation of the educational teaching process was carried out in the use of new information and communication technologies. The following theoretical methods were used: systematization, the historical-logical method and documentary analysis.
Results: a proposal for a Virtual Course on the Moodle Platform on the diagnosis and management of Cerebrovascular Disease, featuring 5 instructional units, each with different resources and activities designed to meet the stated objectives.
Conclusions: this learning model allows healthcare professionals to update their knowledge flexibly and represents a fundamental contribution to continuing medical education.
